Senior Citizen’s Party and Health Clinic – Sunday 28 June 1.30 -6.00pm – at Featherstone High School, Southall – transport can be arranged.  Please speak to Peter if you would like to go.

Flower Arranging – We are in desperate need of more arrangers  – Ivy has had to give up and Margaret is finding it more and more difficult.  This leaves Janet and it is asking too much of anyone to do it each week.  If we could get 4 more volunteers it would work out once a month which is reasonable.  We do not ask for big posh fancy arrangements – something simple is welcomed so if you think you can help please have a word with Janet or Margaret.

Greenford Food Bank Anniversary Service – Wednesday 8 July at 7.30pmat Greenford Methodist Church.  Our Music Group is providing the music for the service so do come and give thanks for the work of the Foodbank which is a much needed outreach to the community.

London School of Theology – Summer School – 14-17 July  ‘this is happening just up the road and features Conrad Gempf delivering material from his new paraphrase of Mark’s Gospel.  We will then split into streams for focussed teaching on a subject relevant to you. These include four different music and worship tracks, multicultural worship, Marven Oxenhamon inductive Bible study, counselling tracks on Pastoral Care and Christian Mindfulness.  More information from http://www.istsummerschool’org/  Full tickets £200,  students and unwaged £175.  There is a 6 for 5 so if anyone is interested please have a word with Peter.

Songs of Praise Big Sing – this will be held at the Albert Hall on 13 September.  The ‘Core Choir’ rehearsal will be on Sunday 6 September, 2-5pm at St Paul’s Church, Knightsbridge – if you join the choir you get into the Albert Hall free.  See Cathy for details.                                                                                    Computer used to enhance our worship – Catherine and Dorcas are doing sterling service but more operators would ease the burden – if you think you could help please have a word with them.

Jerusalem TV – Holiday Club for 7-13year olds – This will be held here from 21st July for 5 days with separate morning and afternoon sessions.  If anyone could help for all or part of the week we would be very grateful – if you can please enter your name on the form at the back of the church indicating what you would consider doing or have a word with Janet, John or Elizabeth.  Thank you very much.

Yorkshire Tea  -  if you drink Yorkshire Tea Janet would be really grateful if you would give her the Bar code and Voucher from the underside of the box.  Through the Rotary Clubs in London these can be redeemed to buy wheelchairs via the Wheelchair Foundation.  This agency sends wheelchairs worldwide to those who cannot afford one.  Thank you very much.

Tea and coffee after the service – there is a new rota at the back of the church.  If you can help on the occasional Sunday please enter your name by the preferred dates.  More info from Janet or Cathy.

Charity for the Year -  this year we have been collecting for MIND but it would be helpful if you could start thinking about which charity we could support next year.  We will put the suggestions to the church for a vote in the near future.  There is a form at the back of the church where you can enter your suggestion.
